I still recall the new client call we received one late afternoon just a few months after
creating our new Firm on September 2004, where we needed to appear at a local news
press conference in St. Petersburg by 5:00 pm. We obviously took the case, but the only
thing was that I did not have a suit to wear. You see, on that particular day, I wore casual
clothes to work because the calendar had been reserved to only focus on law office
administration. So, my only option was to have my wife bring me a suit from home so I
could prepare and still make it to the press conference on time.
I learned that day to always have a wide variety of clothing options at the office.
